No data on first try with Firefox

I'm on Firefox 100.0b6 / MacOS.

When I see a message on the icon and I click it, it opens the display overlay but it's blank. Then I close it and re-open it and the content is there. It wasn't like this before so most likely one of the FF's updates broke the plugin.

Could you create a screencast that shows the issue, and also show the content of the browser console (Cmd-Shift-J)?

If the panel is completely blank, it might indeed be a bug in Firefox. If the panel still has the top bar, then it could also be an issue with connecting to the StackExchange API (including non-implementation issues such as slow network or temporarily unreachable service, etc.).

It's not 100% reproducible, it happens regularly but not at will. I feel like there is a pattern though. The menu has the top bar, but no content. It looks like at some point it just can't establish connection. But closing it and then re-opening it always does the trick, so it's more state related than a connectivity issue. As it happens I keep trying to find a pattern and I'll report here.
