Is there any chance for this extension to support Microsoft Edge ?

Microsoft needs to publish documentation about how to publish an extension before I am even willing to go through the efforts of creating and then trying to publish an extension for Edge.

Are you referring to this ?

From what I can see from the documentation, it should be pretty straightforward to convert a Chrome extension to an Edge one. If I get a little time, I could look into it by the end of the month.

Looks like they have finally (well it's been a year already) opened extension submissions. I'll eventually try to publish my extension there (not soon, but eventually).
