add-on showing as version 2.2.2 instead of 2.2.3

Describe the bug When I download the addon from release page description shows its 2.2.3 but when installed, it shows as 2.2.2.
I hit check for update, and it shows that 2.2.3 is available.

When I try to update, it I get errors in blender's console.

Expected behavior I was hoping to see 2.2.3 when downloading from the website. Perhaps 2.2.3 is not up or there is a mixup?

Version Information:

• Add-on Version 2.2.2 vs 2.2.3
• Blender Version 4.2.2

Looking at init.py in text editor im seeing its showing as 2.2.2 despite being downloaded from github as 2.2.3

side note: 2.2.2 works fine. I'm able to run scripts as buttons as intended. So... thank you!! <3 It's just the version update issue im having a confusing moment with.

Simple workaround: Use master. Now I can see its updated to 2.2.3 Thank you. :)

Fixed with Version 2.3.0. This was probably a problem with the internal updater of the add-on which no longer exists in favor of the extension platform. See #30 .
