Image in Content field appears three times on card unless followed by line break

Hi, thanks for all the work on the great addon. I've been using Enhanced Cloze for a while, and have been adding images to the Content field (via Obsidian and Anki Connect) to aid memory.

Strangely, images added to the content field appear three times when I reiview the card. I can fix this per card by hitting enter under the image, but is there any way to fix the overall issue? I've done some searching but couldn't find any previous questions on the topic.
