Note type is auto-playing audio in cloze deletion on loop before I click anything

I'm trying to create conjugation group notes for Japanese to learn the conjugation in sets with audio to increase my retention rate. I currently have my cloze notes where each of the four groups are under a single cloze (c1) so it plays all the audio in order without having to review 4 separate cards.

I installed this add-on, created a copy of an existing note to test it out, and converted it to the enhanced cloze note type. Unfortunately, that note type plays all the audio in order before I've clicked to reveal any of the cloze deletions. I've tried setting each to c1 and then to c1, c2, c3, and c4 but it still auto-plays the audio hidden in the cloze deletions before I've clicked to reveal them. Not only that but it also plays the audio files on a loop.

I'm unsure if it's one of my other add-ons conflicting or if the note doesn't play well with audio files. Still, since your add-on sounds very promising for making my present conjugation notes way smoother and more effective to memorize, I wanted to bring it to your attention in case it's an easy fix from either of our ends.

If it helps, I'm using tables to organize the information and files using the "extended editor for field (for tables, search&replace" add-on which I realize now that I'm rereading the description mentions altering the field content. https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/805891399
