Re-rip feature not working, everything says "Already Downloaded" despite having been deleted

Open Tribblecon46 opened this issue 5 years ago • 3 comments

  • Ripme version: v1.7.93
  • Java version: 14
  • Operating system: Mac
  • Exact URL you were trying to rip when the problem occurred: https://m.xhamster.com/photos/gallery/milf-pussy-14571498
  • Please include any additional information about how to reproduce the problem: This really only has to do with URLs that have previously been downloaded. The problem is that when the originally downloaded gallery has been deleted, the program still says "already downloaded" even though no files exist of those images.

Expected Behavior

Select galleries in "History" and click re-rip to re-rip selected galleries. RipMe.jar should be able to detect duplicate images and say this, or if "Overwrite existing files?" is checked, should re-download the files.

Actual Behavior

Original ripped folders had been deleted. Under "History" I checked the galleries I wanted to re-rip, every image said "Already downloaded https://thumb-p1..."

I also tried checking "Overwrite existing files?" assuming it would disregard these false "Already downloaded" errors and force to re-download, but it did not help.

Folders get created but remain empty.

By default ripme doesn't redownload files. To change this set remember.url_history in rip.properties to fale (or add it if it isn't there)

see https://github.com/RipMeApp/ripme/wiki/Config-options for all config options and where to find the config file

Alternatively, if you want to download them once and then not again, you can delete your url history. Not sure how to do that on mac, sorry
