Alt-Tab Glitches
While paused, if you Alt-Tab out of RoR, all flexbodies vanish (and the mirrors turn black):
When you restore RoR's window and un-pause, all flexbodies are black:
Tested with multiple vehicles, multiple maps in nightly build 30 of 0.4.6.0.
Please test again when the next nightly build is out. This might have already been fixed.
Tested through build 36 (Feb. 7), still present, same behavior.
But you're not getting this in 0.4.5.1, right?
I cant reproduce it.
Nope, 0.4.5.1 was fine. This is just in 0.4.6.0 nightly build 30 through 35 (not saying it started at 30, 30 was the first build I tested).
I think this is a duplicate of this https://github.com/RigsOfRods/rigs-of-rods/issues/452 or it's probably related at least.
Definitely related. I never had the materials turning black issue before In previous versions the spec and mirrors would vanish for a second on Alt+Tab, but then return after about a second.
The flexbodies vanishing appears to be completely new, though.
I have the same problem two, when i Alt+Tab out of RoR, everything on the vehicle is black (at least on your hdx) I also get this on RoR 0.4.5.1 but i have night build now.
The last unaffected version appears to be 0.39.
Recently I found out if you press CTRL+SHIFT+R
to reload the vehicle, the texture issues will disappear.
Flexbodies don't disappear on the latest master, just the textures glitch.
Submeshes on vehicles in the 'sleeping' state disappear, but will reappear once they're activated again.
im not sure if this is a game wide bug or not, but when i have input grabbing set to dynamically, and if i alt tab or even use the mouse to switch to another program, and then come back, just click the ror button on the taskbar and move it past a vehicle you have spawned and the first node that the mouse gets closest to will be grabbed. ill make a video to show this issue nmore clearly
steps to reproduce
- spawn a vehicle
- alt tab to another program
- go back to ror, DONT press any mouse buttons, 4, just simply move the mouse across a part of the vehicle and it should act like you clicked if you watch the video above with the opainful slo mo which idk why its doing that it should show my issue
