Fixed a couple of problems with making it work with newer OpenJDK and Gradle

Plus did a bit of a tweak on the README since it took me forever to figure out how to get it started.

Found a problem in SimpleStorage that wouldn't update the paths correctly, changed it from a stream() to an forEach() on the path updating and was able to pass tests finally.

Great work by the way. I attempted to write a Java version about 10 years ago, this is much more polished than what I wrote back then!
