Can't pass authentication to enter redirected URL

I use Manjaro. I get to step 13 to accept the permissions, but then after I click Agree, nothing happens, the page keeps loading, so I can't enter the URL I'm redirected to. I see my app on the list of apps however. I switched off my firewall and tried private session in browser, but still can't pass to the next page. I use the default 8888 port. I have it added on Spotify in the URI links. Please advise.

running sudo -E spt "solved" it for me. It works but isn't ideal ofcourse

I have the same Problem on my raspi. I reinstalled with --force to try it again but now it won't even let me pass the authentification at all. It opens a tab when I run spt but it won't stop loading so that I can't authenticate. Please some advice.
