Support for older GPUs

my GPU does not support openGL4.6, but it does support 4.5, and i believe im not the only person with this issue An openGL 4.5 fork would be brilliant

I've been planning a feature which allows you to select a custom OpenGL version if 4.6 isn't supported (or just in general, allow users to choose any OpenGL version through configuration) for a while now. This issue is probably just what I need to get it started.

I will look into this idea on Friday.
