I tracked this issue down to error in the code that was using QBit. It was calling the callback many times.

If you don't have time for a PR, try at least a code sample or unit test that shows the problem.

Plugin a different JSON Mapper (Both request and response)

You can replace the factory. I will try to come up with an example swapping in Jackson instead of Boon.
