ramjet homepage demo partially broken on Chrome + macOS

The ramjet demo at http://www.rich-harris.co.uk/ramjet/ currently fails on the SVG slide on Chrome (68.0.3440.106/macOS). Here is what it does:

I just test today the demos to see how works and I saw the same glitches.

Version 87.0.4280.66 (Official Build) (64-bit) Ubuntu 20.04

Can confirm still an issue, doesn't seem to be specific to OS either, just Chrome.

Version 89.0.4389.90 (Official Build) (64-bit) Windows 10
