There is no background CD music when playing MegaCD in Retrobat 7.1
I noticed that migrated from segacd to megacd in roms folder. In Retrobat 7.0 there is a background music.
Hello,
Works fine here, what emulator ? What core ? What does your game file looks like ? Is there a cue file and cd track files ?
Default emulator (retroarch) and core (libretro: genesis_plus_gx), unchanged. cue/bin image file with cda track. game name: Keio Flying Squadron (USA)
Maybe a setting in genesis_plus_gx that changed, we'd need to check the core options, can you have a look, when pressing F1, whether something is missing or might be an option to manage music ?
cd-da volume 100, RetroArch core and driver options have not been modified.
I found in retrobat 7.1\saves\megacd\Genesis Plus GX folder is missing a scd_U.brm file than retrobat 7.0 (saves\segacd), is this a problem?

I can confirm this bug on Retrobat 7.1. Game is working, but no background music. The workaround I found is to disable "CD Access Time" in Quick Menu/Core options/Hacks/ I would add that some game like Chuck Rock freezes with this core. Another workaround is to use PicoDrive, but there are some graphical glitches (yellow square at the top of the screen)
Retroarch 1.20.0 Genesis Plus GX v1.7.4 .chd rom
So the issue is with retroarch. Not with retrobat, must be a regression with the libretro core.
Let's see when they fix it
