Linking dialog dropdown is sometimes much shorter than normal

I noticed this using RANes and the latest integration release. It may have to do with opening the dropdown before it has time to be populated with entries, but either way the result is that the dropdown only shows one entry when deployed, making it difficult to navigate down the list. I cannot reproduce it right now to take a screenshot.
