Compatibility with gnome 41?

Hey there, the extension stopped working after recent archlinux upgrade to gnome 41.1, with some compatibility error message. I succeded in restoring the vertical behaviour by changing the version numbers to 41 in the metadata.json file and restarting, but I'm not sure this was the only thing to do / the right way to go.
