Ambient Occlusion not working properly in capture

Open FlorianW-FAU opened this issue 2 years ago • 6 comments

When creating a video with the CaptureFromCamera component, the ambient occlusion effect seems to be floating next to objects that are getting recorded. Makes it look like a floating shadow behind the original object.

  • Unity version: 2021.3.18f1
  • AVPro Movie Capture version: Version 5.1.2
  • Operating system version: Windows 11 (10.0.22621)
  • Capture component used: CaptureFromCamera
  • Capture settings (resolution, frame-rate, codec): 1920x1080, any framerate, HEVC

To Reproduce Use ambient occlusion

This was caused by render scale not being 1. Possible enhancement to check for this and either warn user or change it.
