Hard Disk Temperature seems not auto refresh / 硬盘温度似乎不会自动刷新
看起来只有SATA硬盘的温度是错的,m2硬盘没这个问题,手动刷新传感器后读数是正确的,但是读数并不会实时更新或者定期刷新
Please translate to english. I also cannot do anything with the sensors on the desktop as I have no clue what they are, due to them not being in english, and what software they come from.
Troubleshooting:
Please provide "Log.txt" which is being created by "ConsoleOutputTest" in latest release from here: https://github.com/Blacktempel/DiskInfoToolkit/releases
For comparison please also take a screenshot from the drive[s] with issues from CrystalDiskInfo (one per problematic drive).
You can upload the requested data file by file or zip all of it and upload the zip archive.
Optional: You may also upload a screenshot from "DiskInfoViewer" in same release and / or check if all of your drives are being displayed there. This tool updates your drives, including all displayed data, automatically every couple of seconds and detects when drives are being added or removed.
Sorry , I mean only SATA drives temperatures are displaying incorrect readings , whereas M.2 drives are not affected by this issue . Manually refreshing the sensor data returns correct values , but the readings do not update in real-time or refresh automatically at regular intervals . I collected a log using the toolkit , with some screenshots from CDI , and compiled them into a zip file .
Thank you for the logs and screenshots. I cannot spot an issue in the log. There have been some fixes in last days, so please wait until a new version of FanControl is released (where DiskInfoToolkit's version >= 1.1.0) and test again.
You can also test if refresh is working in general by starting "DiskInfoViewer" and watch temperatures. They will update automatically if anything changes.
If I use "DiskInfoViewer" , the temperature does refresh , because it is a "manual refresh" . I noticed that the temperature readings in fancontrol are not completely static , they might update every several minute , 30min (?) or 1hrs (?) , but they still don't match the actual temperature at that moment .
@Rem0o FanControl v250 (.NET 10, Portable Zip)
I've plugged in an USB stick (nvme ssd with full smart attributes) and got the refresh message - I assume HardwareAdded was handled.
That device is a good test as it heats up a couple degrees quite fast.
While monitoring LHM and another software, I can see that the temperature rises.
FanControl on the other hand does not appear to update that sensor that often. Is one minute the update interval you have set for Storage ? That's what my stopwatch on my phone told me.
Also it seems like HardwareRemoved is not handled - at least for Storage - as it does not update when I remove my stick.
@kingfingerpro DiskInfoViewer: The "Refresh" button is only necessary if you want a complete refresh. When a disk was loaded once, it will automatically refresh volatile data.
FanControl: It does update, it just appears to take more time. I see no issue from my side at the moment.
@Blacktempel FanControl uses the ThrottleInterval feature of LHM. People complained about the 1 second polling rate for drives as some spinning drives will audibly tick every poll. Might make it a parameter.
Also it seems like HardwareRemoved
You are right. Did the minimum with HardwareAdded, HardwareRemoved will be handled soon.
@Blacktempel Maybe you could try using SATA protocol devices ( SSDs and HDDs ). Based on my observations, data from SATA SSDs and HDDs shows a delay, while the NVMe drive provides real-time data.
"A parameter" is right, doing so would allow manual adjustment of the sensor refresh interval.
V251:
- updated DiskInfoToolKit
- added the update interval parameter
same with the v251 no nvme temperature
@bebelllm that's a mix sensor you are showing.
