Negative Temperature on one Motherboard Sensor

Open MikeSW17 opened this issue 1 month ago • 1 comments

Fan Control V249 (maybe earlier versions too).

One of the Motherboard Sensors detected by FanControl is returning a Negative Temperature value. This might be a Falsely detected Sensor, that isn't really present, or other fault?

My MoBo is an MSI MPG X670E Carbon WiFi (MS-7D70).

Sensor M2 #1 "MSI MPG X670E Carbon WiFi (MS-7D70)" is returning -62C.

Picture 2 - Same but for Erroneous Sensor

EDIT: Sorry, I meant to use two MoBo sensors in the pictures for comparison, but you'll get the idea!

That sensor reading comes from LHM

It must be fixed there. Probably a wrong sensor mapping.
