im having troubles configuring my threadripper reported temperature, fancontrol reports the temperature at strange values of 105c and higher! but from HWInfo and Corsair ICUE its 54c .

Which sensor are you referring? Screenshots?

Actually, three bad sensors readings, memory temperature for both asus rtx 5090 , pny rtx 6000 pro Blackwell, including the amd razen threadripper pro 9975wx cpu temperature i send you an email on "[email protected]" [email protected] found it in the app about page, with screen shoot , hope this well help

It's more likely that this issue belongs in the LHM repository as the sensors come from there.

You can upload a report (File -> Save Report) from latest master LHM build and a screenshot of HWiNFO64 which also displays the sensors in question. Please ensure that you take the screenshots shortly after or before (try to be fast) you save the report. Just open both parallel before you start to be faster. Maybe that can help identifying the sensors in question.

thx i reported the same at the link you provided.

The NvThermalSensors 255 readings come from a plugin? So whatever these readings are, the problem is with the plugin support for these cards.

As for the Threadripper Tctl/Tdie, it looks hot indeed, but I can't really tell if its wrong or not for this specific CPU. Maybe it has a different offset than the other Ryzen processor making everything hotter than it should. Or that specific if/else block doesn't catch your CPU at all leaving you with a temperature reading missing any/the right offset. My guess is the right offset is -27 but you get 0 since your CPU model/name doesn't get caught by the specific condition for threadripper 19 or 29.

In the meantime, you could create a "offset" custom sensor and apply -27 to it, see if it aligns better with your other references.

you are right , maybe i have to submit this issue for NvThermalSensors, regarding the CPU sensor offset, that's a good option, if i used offset -49.5c i will have the exact temperature as HWInfo, glad there is a work around.

So this is about GPU not CPU and from a plugin ? I thought this is about the CPU showing ~105°C.

Blacktempel avatar Nov 22 '25 18:11 Blacktempel

i have 3 issues, the cpu temperature readings, and the rest are both GPU memory temperature readings

Ah okay. RTX 5090 Memory Junction Temperature is supported by default LHM sensors - it works for my 5090. Not sure about your other GPU.

After checking in FanControl, I don't see the sensor for memory junction. Is this intended @Rem0o ? I only see the GPU sensor itself.

This is what i can see on the selection menu, i do think its from the plugin we mentioned earlier

I dont think it is a plugin, i have the same problem with the cpu.

Fancontrol has 2 built in nvidia sensor providers. You need to disable nvapiwrapper for the lhm one to take over @Blacktempel
