Does Fan Control monitor / poll the Power and Power % sensor on the GPU

So I've fallen into the rabbit hole of fixing stutters on 9800x3d and 5070 ti. I found this thread on reddit and it looks like disabling Power % and Power monitoring in MSI Afterburner and HWinfo helps a lot with 1% and 0.1% lows.

So after I disabled all the sensors that monitor power on afterburner, rivatuner, hwinfo I noticed that FanControl also monitors some sensors, but I couldn't find information on which ones exactly. Here's my sensor settings, it says that NVAPI overrides LHM. Is there any way to check what sensors are being monitored? Are only Temps and Fan Speeds or are ALL gpu sensors being polled and monitored.

If GPU is enabled, all sensors from GPU will be created and updated. You can untick GPU and remove them completely. Single sensor removal (e.g. remove GPU power sensor) is not possible.

Well I tried unticking GPU and NVAPI and going through HWinfo plugin to get only GPU temp/ GPU fan sensor but when I do that I'm missing the actual Fan Control for the GPU, any ideas why? (Tried enabling all hwinfo sensors but that still didn't let me control the gpu fans in fancontrol)

HWInfo doesn't provide any fan control. Your safest bet is to ONLY enable NvAPIWrapper in in the settings.
