Using version 245 (NET 4.8) Fan Control usually freezes upon waking the computer from sleep.

Having an issue where when the PC comes out of sleep, the FanControl window appears on the screen, even though it was not open before going to sleep; with the options to Cancel, Discard or Save configuration.

I made a change to the tray icon settings. I had it displaying Core Max and fan speed percentage for the CPU fan (I think). I now have only Core Max temp displayed and so far coming out of sleep, the program isn't frozen.

I've decided to uncheck the Sync icon colour with Windows And yeah that seems to have fixed it for now, Thanks

247 seems to have fixed the problems I was having when coming out of sleep.

I'm having this problem although I'm not sure it's when it comes out of sleep. With any version after 2.42, I will notice at some point annoying fan noise and then discover FanControl is locked up. The tray icon isn't changing and opening FanControl shows a black screen. This includes 2.47. I went back to 2.42 and this problem went away.

issue still persists in 247. and in this hung state the corsair plugin also puts the aio pump at 100%. this stays till i force restart when i notice. my setup is completely dependent on fancontrol now and i don't want to back to crappy icue or bios control. but worried about the pump lifetime :(

All I have in the log for 2.47 is this normal stuff. Is there a way to enable more logging? The 2.42 version that works fine after standby has much more in the logs but I Think you may have added that specifically. I downloaded from above in this thread.

log for the last few days. iirc it occurred at least once in that time window after resume from sleep .. LHM seems upset with one of the temp sensors:
