Auto Load Curve does not work

Open UbikNoir opened this issue 2 months ago • 1 comments

I set up a few sensors and curves, and was switching to the "Auto Load" controls for GPU and CPU, but the speed calculated and set by these control is very often 0%, even though it should not be I am on version 245.

CPU Ryzen 5900X GPU Radeon RX 9070XT Windows 11 latest update as at the time of writing

even though it should not be

Why is that?

from the docs

The auto fan curve is designed to find the lowest possible speed to sustain a desired load temperature.

In your screenshot the temps are comfortably below the load temperature you set. That's how auto works. If temps are below load and stay there, why increase the fan speed?

If you want it more loose and progressive, you can increase the deadband.
