Missing control sensor
log： 2025/6/7 17:48:54: Status: Installing driver "D:\SoftWare\FanControl\FanControl.sys" failed and file exists First Exception: StartService returned the error code: 0000001F. Second Exception: StartService returned the error code: 0000001F.
This has been happening on my Son's computer a lot lately. I've even completely deleted the fancontrol folder and started from scratch, but after a week or so it will lose all it's sensors again. I assumed it was him doing something because we run FanControl on multiple other PCs (same versions) and no one else is having this problem.
I know this doesn't help OP, but I think it is an issue.
One thing that I have noticed in looking through the logs is that there are tons of errors about NZXT AIO issues (i don't have the logs in front of me at the moment). My guess is that is what is starting the cascade of errors. But it's just a guess.

是这样的，其他杀毒软件杀掉后，错误代码是不一样的，但是ace国内玩家绕不过啊
I had this problem for a while, fixable with a reboot. Whitelisting the installation folder in Windows Defender fixed it for me.
Just had the fans on the motherboard error out.
Defender popped up to say threat
googled error, came here
whitelisted fancontrol folder
rebooted
fans working like a charm
