Cant change AIO pump speed and shuts off pump at random

Open TheJester6 opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

Tried reinstalling, at first the pump showed as normal and was controllable trough the software then it was locked to max speed and didn't respond at all to any changes in the program and at last it started randomly shutting off the pump. If i change the value the pump starts again but is still locked to the speed it had before shutting off. I verified the speed with HW info to check if its just showing wrong but nope the bios reported the same speed as well. Also to be clear the pump is not bad because if i close the program it starts working properly again and is controllable trough bios. I tried switching pump header as well didn't change anything.

After some more testing i found that it sometimes works again but still at random.

Current work around: disable fan control's control over the pump and set speed trough bios.

PS: all Fans work exactly as they should

specs: Asus Tuf X670e, Deepcool LT720 360mm

How exactly did you configure your pump in FanControl. Screenshots of everything expanded out.

I let it pair and calibrate automatically then i manualy set the speed, there is no curve or anything controlling the pump.

In the video you see it happen sometimes it catches itself and sometimes it dosent.

That spike is not generated by FanControl, as through the "?" briefly appearing which means the value was set from outside. I don't know what could cause this.
