scanning for fans activates Avast self defence mode.

when scanning for fans Avast self defense mode activates and blocks fancontrol.sys file. self defense mode protects avast from another program trying to disable or harm the antivirus software.

So somewhere in the fancontrol program its trying to attack my antivirus software with malicious intent. I've trusted Avast for the last 14 years. when it says somethings isn't right i have no objections. especially when its trying to attack Avast. i've tried disabling Avast shields before to install a program and it was riddled with viruses every time.

Someone added malicious code to the project. i refuse to use it.

See https://github.com/Rem0o/FanControl.Releases/issues/1521 and https://github.com/LibreHardwareMonitor/LibreHardwareMonitor/issues/984 FanControl uses a driver through https://github.com/LibreHardwareMonitor/LibreHardwareMonitor that Avast blocks.
