Please provide logs. Also FastMOTD is known to cause issues. Try reproduce without that.

Although the problem is caused by FastMOTD, the previous version of raknetify-fabric-0.1.0+alpha.5.112-all.jar does not have this problem, and the server side can use the latest version 5.128. Obviously the user side needs to be adjusted. You can try this ZIP in MultiMC, which contains version 5.112 https://mine.candy.moe/res/MineCandy-1.20.1-r2.zip

Related to Elytrium/FastMOTD#21 That version probably had a bug where ping does not go through raknetify.
