Constrain Proportions options

Is there a way to constrain proportions to a specified width and height? I'm looking to define an initial width/height but they can resize it constrained.

Am i overlooking an option? If not maybe i can add it.

I'm integrating the old jquery resize for now but it's clunky and would rather this but may take some time to get to it.
