Coffee lake backlight

Open gnpaone opened this issue 3 years ago • 0 comments

I installed big sur in my asus vivobook gaming f571gt i5 9300h coffee lake laptop using opencore (as many drivers didn't work with clover but worked with opencore) but backlight doesn't work in neither of them. I used SSDT-PNLF-CFL.aml (kept it gfx0 and tried but no use, changed gfx0 to igpu as my hackintosh detects my internal graphics card (uhd 630) as igpu) but after using it, it detects as internal display but brightness slider is missing so I thought to use your intelbacklight.kext but your info.plist doesn't contain anything for coffee lake and it does nothing when I installed it using kext wizard. I tried changing to gpu0 also in ssdt (as my windows 10 says it's gpu0 but still the same, problem not solved)(all tried with and without your kext). Should I change iopciprimarymatch key in your info.plist to 0x59128086 0x59168086 0x591B8086 0x591E8086 0x59268086 0x59278086 0x59238086 0x3E918086 0x3E928086 as mentioned for coffee lake in https://hackintosher.com/forums/thread/coffee-lake-uhd-630-graphics-framebuffer-injection-0x3e918086-0x3e928086-for-high-sierra.210/ , will it solve the issue? Please help SSDT-PNLF-CFL.zip
