2.2.1
Hi all, we are considering releasing 2.2.1., possibly in a week or so. How does this sound? Are there any PRs that needs to be merged? Version release number (2.2.1) sounds good? Feedback welcome. Julien.
I think these should at least be checked to see if they require attention before releasing.
- #99, wrong allocatable numbers are just annoying to debug.
- #73, has it been fixed? If not, I can provide a quick fix for cmake, harder for
make - #97, not being able to build with newer compilers is not good.
There has been a 2.2.1 tag for a while, which may have been created by accident on March 2nd 2022. Some users might already have used this tag instead of the release. Maybe it is better to avoid confusion and go directly to 2.2.2?
Edit: big distros like Ubuntu already ship v2.2.1: https://packages.ubuntu.com/noble/libscalapack-mpi-dev

Oh yeah, this, most definitely!
Yes, 2.2.2. Thanks @bjoe2k4. Let us do 2.2.2.
@langou Unfortunately 76cc1ed3032e9a4158a4513c9047c3746b269f04 is missing from the release tarball, therefore still presenting as 2.2.1 (see also #108) , can this be fixed or is another version bump needed?
