Arrow right (2192) / Arrow left (2190)

When typing "->" or "<-" the symbol is not changing to the glyphs for Arrow right (2192) / Arrow left (2190).

Can anyone help me with this? It happens in Word and Obsidian.

There are no ligatures or contextual alternates in these fonts which would do that substitution. Your only option at this time is to manually enter those code points.
