[BUG] Mouse sometimes stop working

Problem observed: It happens that mouse clicks no longer working. It seems as if there is transparent window covering whole screen, which intercepts all mouse clicks. Sometimes there is foreground window, which continue receiving clicks. Keyboard is working. When I switch window with Cmd-Tab another become foreground, but mouse still not clicking to it. Restarting toshy services cures! I prefer killing process toshy/.venv/bin/xwaykeyz Through days problem occurs more and more often! May be this correlates with number of system updates. When it becomes too annoying (for example two times for an hour) I do reinstall toshy (with downloading fresh packets) and situation reverts to start. I have a long time before been disturbed again.

This feels like something that is external to the Toshy keymapper, but there will need to be more details to figure out what's happening.

That's literally what the toshy-services-stop or toshy-services-restart commands do. If you don't want to use the tray icon menu. There's no need to manually figure out which process to kill.
I need to see the output of toshy-services-log, and then the initial output from toshy-debug (to see what might be getting grabbed as the keymapper starts, and what the environment looks like).
After that, you can keep running toshy-debug in a terminal tab for as long as you want. It can normally be killed by Ctrl+C or by closing the terminal tab if the process becomes unresponsive. If the window context isn't working for some reason, then Cmd+C will also kill the process, or if the window context is working then Cmd+Dot (period key) will also send the SIGINT that Ctrl+C sends.
Do not try to save large amounts of the verbose logging to a file and then post a bunch of it here, since it will contain a log of all keystrokes you type, which would include passwords and other possibly confidential information. But we do want to try to catch and copy some snippets of the log while the strange mouse issue is happening, to see if it really has anything to do with Toshy's keymapper.
Obviously it is somehow interacting with the keymapper, so we need to figure out what's happening. What kind of mouse device are you using?
Remember to put triple-Grave quotes around any "code" or terminal output to make it more readable, and try to look up how to do an HTML "spoiler" with the details/summary tags. There must be a blank line between HTML tags and the triple-quotes in order for things to render correctly on GitHub.

I had the same issue after boot today, click did not work and it was not sufficient to press the restart services button in the gui (via keyboard tabbing), nor running scripts/bin/toshy-services-restart.sh. Once I ran scripts/bin/toshy-services-stop.sh then scripts/bin/toshy-services-start.sh mouse click started working again.

You know those are all supposed to be available as aliases (Edit: I mean symlinks in ~/.local/bin/), right? There should be a bunch of toshy-* commands that will Tab-complete in the terminal.
Strange that the restart script would not do the job by itself. Maybe it should stop the config service and then start it, instead of using systemctl's restart command. This is what it's doing currently:
systemctl --user restart toshy-config.service
Probably a good idea to get the keymapper to avoid grabbing your mouse device ('Logitech Wireless Mouse MX Master 2S'). The "ignore device" feature is not available yet, but you could tell it to only grab legit your keyboard devices.
In your keymapper_api slice at the top of your config file, do this:

I'm assuming the 'solaar-keyboard' device is also related to the mouse, and perhaps plays a part in this issue of the mouse not working. I wouldn't let the keymapper grab that device unless it's an actual keyboard that needs remapping.

Regarding the scripts, I did not investigate why but I don't seem to have them on my path..
Edit: I'm using zsh and didn't have .local/bin on my path apparently. Added source ~/.profile to my .zprofile and now it works!
