(Question) Right-Shift not functional - Macbook Pro US keyboard

Hi, does anyone know w to get the right-shift key working? The current behaviour is that if you press it - it does not do anything, it needs to behave like it used to on the mac, and like the left-shift key. I have loaded linux Mint latest version on Macbook Pro 2012 model. Toshy is running, Cmd-V etc is working.
