The preview can work on Linux without timestamp support. (for example, open the camera on F455 using Cheese app.) some kernel patch are required for timestamp support, I think.

so far, there is no offical java wrapper. you can call RSID cpp API via JNI interface.
Can you run rsid-viewer before upgrading the FW? which upgrade tool do you use? I recommend rsid-fw-update v0.25.0
you can upgrade the FW in two steps. upgrade the FW to 3.1 from 2.6, and then upgrade to 4.3. Please make sure using the tool **rsid-fw-update** v0.25.0
