Frontpage details broken on some browser
I saw this from Ben's recently published presentation:
There are a couple of things broken here: jumbotron arrow position, jumbotron height, and diagram arrow heads. Which browser were you using here, @benjchristensen ?
(I intend to fix these once I know)
What is à "jumbotronXXX"? (Showing my utter lack of design skills)
It's a silly name IMO, and I didn't come up with it, it seems to come with the Bootstrap framework. It's the header section with the logo and dark background picture. Some call it "hero", some call it just "header".
We love lingo in our field.
BTW on Chrome (on OSX) when I click on the "jumbotron arrow" nothing happens. Also, I would expect to "page" through the site with right-arrow on the keyboard but nothing happens when I click that either.
Sure, I can make the jumbotron arrow scroll the page. :)
Clicking on the arrow or using right-arrow to page scroll still doesn't work (Chrome/OSX). Is that really an issue though? Is the arrow meant to be clickable or just to indicate there's more content below? Has a UI standard dialect emerged for page designs of this sort in which such an indicator is clickable or not?
