Scala 3 release for 1.1.0-play29.RC17?

Hi, I would just like to check if there will be a release of 1.1.0-play29.RC17 for Scala 3? I can see the release only for play30.

There is no play-json 2.9.x for Scala 3 : https://central.sonatype.com/artifact/com.typesafe.play/play-json_3.

This is not going to have scala 3 release? I am a bit confused. I saw that there was a scala 3 relase for RC12.

That means, we can't use play 2.9 with the latest reactivemongo RC version with scala 3?

Previous version was not using play scala 3 but 2.13 with compat. That's no longer the case. As long as play itself doesn't release play-json 2.9 for Scala 3, there won't be release for such combination.

Hi @cchantep Sorry, I didn't understand fully. Play 2.9.x uses play-json 2.10.8 which supports scala 3 and 2.13.

Is this not able to be used in play-reactivemongo (i guess through reactivemongo-play-json-compat) due to compatibility issue? Just trying to understand the situation. I am trying to use the latest reactivemongo version and was running into problems since there is scala 3 and 2.13
