The "new" XML/SVG Logo of the patched YouTube client is also still showing the default YouTube Icon and not the revanced shape.

Old icon at least not so small as new

Size doesn't matter. It's the technique. It's sharp and thin. Which makes it look unpolished. If it was round and bubbly it would look much more friendly.
