Bug description

With the Always Autorepeat patch installed and enabled, in a playlist, playback malfunctions after the first play and fails after the second.

Steps to reproduce

Device: Nord N10, Android 11 Version: Youtube 17.36.37 ReVanced: Manager 0.0.24 - all patches except microg, root install

Steps: 1: Ensure Always Autorepeat patch is installed and the "Enable auto-repeat" toggle is enabled under ReVanced settings 2: Open a YT playlist (can be private, such as Watch Later, or public, such as any channel playlist) and select an item to play. Allow it to repeat. 2a: First playthrough works correctly. 2b: Second playthrough displays a loading spinner. The progress bar and video time are frozen, but the video plays. 2c: Afterwards, playback freezes and the loading spinner remains indefinitely.

Solution

Ideally, the auto-repeat patch would, on playlist open, default the built-in playlist repeat setting to repeat-one. This might allow auto-repeat to respect the other playlist repeat settings.

Alternately, auto-repeat could avoid attempting to loop videos in a playlist entirely, and a patch request could be made for 'remember playlist repeat mode' or similar.

Additional context

The playlist's own repeat toggle has no effect on this bug, regardless of setting. This issue appears to be identical to the one Vanced had with its auto-repeat feature and playlists.
