feat: Ability to uninstall plugins

Open KobeW50 opened this issue 2 months ago • 6 comments

Feature description

An option within the Downloads settings to uninstall plugins/downloaders that are detected.

Example: Image

Edit: For Compose Manager.

Motivation

Many users don't know how to uninstall apps that don't appear in their device's launcher. So having the ability to uninstall plugins/downloaders from within the Manager would help these users.

Hey. As far as I know, nobody is working on this currently. You are welcome to work on it. Thank you

Also btw, my screenshot is not necessarily a good design. Speak with the ReVanced team (oSumatrix, Ushie, ValidCube, and Palm) to make sure the design you want to implement is good. Discord is probably the easiest place to speak with them.

Uninstall would also imply install. Downloaders can absolutely have launcher icons if they want to or even make it customizable. External downloaders unrelated to revanced can even export the downloader class to integrate with revanced manager

Maybe I am biased, but it feels weird that there would be people who have never seen/used the app list in the settings.

Most users only know install app on app store and uninstall app on home screen, they dont know more than that but i also dont feel like this is not something revanced has to solve but android with its design
