bug: ReVanced Manager Fails to Patch Apps on Devices with Adoptable Storage

Open jytmX opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

Bug description

Issue: When attempting to use the ReVanced Manager app to patch various applications such as Twitter, YouTube Music, and YouTube on a device with adopted storage, the following error occurs:

Something went wrong:
PathNotFoundException: Creation failed, path = '/storage/emulated/0/Android/data/app.revanced.manager.flutter/files' (OS Error: No such file or directory, errno = 2)

This issue affects multiple applications and seems to be related to how the ReVanced Manager app handles file paths on devices with adopted storage.

  • The error message suggests that the app is unable to create necessary directories due to the adopted storage configuration.

Version of ReVanced Manager and version & name of app you are patching

Environment:

  • Device: Realme RMX3261
  • Android version: 11
  • ReVanced Manager version: 1.19.1
  • Root permissions: No
