feat: Download patch bundle prompt

Open oSumAtrIX opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

Feature description

Show a prompt to download the main bundle of patches if no bundle has been downloaded yet.

Motivation

If the user has disabled auto-updates, they have to download the bundle for the first time manually. Because you would not be able to select any patch if you do not have any bundle of patches downloaded, at the attempt to patch, prompt the user to download the bundle (or select a file accordingly)

Additional context

No response

I don't see how this is possible, how can you possibly have auto-updates disabled if it's the first time you are installing the app?

Still, there is a small time when you install the app where you don't have any patch installed since the app is downloading the default bundle. If you try to patch an app at this time you will have an error. This can be improved, but from my testings the app will always download the default bundle in the background.
