ORCID linkage

(I wasn't sure how to contact the team, I hope opening a PR for that is okay...)

Hello Rescience folks!

I saw that the Rescience papers include ORCid as part of their metadata (which is awesome). I was wondering if you also have set up the forwarding of these metadata to ORCid such that Rescience papers get automatically added to the author's profile? And if yes, how does this work?

I'm co-managing another research-led journal, and I would gladly benefit from your experience :-)

Hi Romain,

I don't think we setup any specific to forward information to ORCID. We mostly use the ID and that's it. Maybe @arfon or @labarba could answr your question with JOSS and JOSE

JOSS/JOSE deposit article DOIs with Crossref. Crossref updates ORCID records.
