Editorial board
This is the thread related to the editorial board formation. Ideally, the editorial board should cover any computational science as well as any languages and most common tools & libraries that are used in a specific domain.
- [ ] Physical science
- [ ] Life Science
- [ ] Formal Science
- [ ] Social Science
- [ ] Engineering Science
I tried to modify the board page so as to indicate that I know PyNEST (after I realized almost noone states which neural simulator -Biran, Nest, Neuron- they are familiar with, an information that is helpful for editors looking for rviewers), but this has not been propagated to the webpage: how is it done?
Second, I do not belong anymore to Université Pierre & Marie Curie (as it merged with Paris 4 and is now known as Sorbonne Université), how can I update that too? (well, all board members mentionning UPMC should be updated too)
How did you modify it ?
On the "code" tab on the upper left of this page, clicked on "editorial-board.md", then on the edit button (pen-shaped), et voilà ! But I realize now that this md file lists me as a reviewer, and not associate editor, meaning that it is deprecated, right?
@benoit-girard when you do that, I guess GitHub may have created a fork of the repository for you. If this is the case, your edits are in your own fork of the repo; not the one the ReScience homepage is generated from. You can create a pull request against the original repo to get your changes incorporated in it.
@benoit-girard Do you have a PR button somewhere ? I think @ThomasA is right and you might have edited your own fork (that might be out of date by the way).
