No indication of how many effects are already in use

Trying to use LÖVE Audio Effects Playground v1.1 on Linux x86_64 with LÖVE 11.5 AppImage.

When trying to activate the effects from the first column, I get the following errors:

[Message] Error: Failed adding effect 'flanger'.
[Message] Error: Failed adding effect 'chorus'.
