make the web interface a lil nicer

tell the browser to use its default dark colors if the user has dark mode on (this gives dark mode support with 0 effort since you aren't setting any custom colors)
added a lil favicon
saved some bytes here and there (yes i'm following the standards, <!doctype html><title>a</title> is valid html)

i didn't test this since i don't have hardware in hand but all the changes i made were to strings and they should all be ok

Removal of <html><head> breaks on legacy browsers. Part of resilience is accessibility. In an emergency we want this to work with a piece of junk running IE6 or a Windows CE device. I love that favicon. I'll do some testing on the CSS this week but using default browser theming is a good idea for modern devices.
