Activity reminder does not work in version 1.42

One of the most appreciated features of this wonderful app is to get notifications every 30 minutes (interval set by user) that a timer is running. This allows me to get up and take a break during long sessions. This feature however seems to have stopped working in the latest version. It worked fine until the last update. Do we have a workaround?

It's working fine on my phone. Did you check the "do not disturb" setting?

thank you for the update! It is strange. I don't have do not disturb. I rolled back to version 1.41 and the notification works again.

Hello! Thank you for the feedback. It is strange, should be working. Can you please share your phone model and android version? Maybe it will help.

I installed the latest version (1.4.2) again to test. Notifications still did not show up. I modified the battery optimization to "Do not optimize" and now it seems to work perfectly! I had not disabled optimization for 1.4.1 and it was working fine.

I am using Android version 14 on a Sony Xperia 5 IV (XQ-CQ54)

Had the same issue on Android 11. +1 regarding disabling battery optimization, it solved the problem.
