Can you attach the AppImage file so that I can check what's wrong with it?

and 3. That's probably either a problem in the application or a problem in Wine. I'd suggest googling about running that game in Wine, and asking in forums like https://www.playonlinux.com/en/forums.html and https://forum.winehq.org/. You may for instance need to use some winetrick, or tune Wine's configuration.

I'm having the same problem with the program JGlossator. When you run the appimage it just shows a file explorer. I am not able to run JGlossator inside the file explorer and this output is in the terminal.
wine: Read access denied for device L"\\??\\Z:\\", FS volume label and serial are not available.
I would attach the appimage, but it's 239MB.
