Attractive home page

This home page of fusic must be attractive and informative. It should convince potential users to try it out. Any idea's here are appreciated.

I like how you're calling this an "issue". But I have some ideas about this so dont worry! :P

I found this concept design by Piotr Kwiatkowski:

def looks good  It might be a bit too complex for our purposes with the three column layout and everything, but there's some interesting elements we can borrow ;)

I really like layout of https://atmospherejs.com/ Especially what happens when searching and pressing the menu button. We could try to do something similar as well.

How do you think atmospherejs is implemented? Just custom animations?

I also found this http://www.mypartiq.com/ which looks like just an other spotify queue (no voting).

Although it looks a bit like famo.us, I think it's just css transitions in the end :) It's quite easy to replicate, but performance in firefox during the animations is subpar.

We should better hurry with out soundcloud implementation then :P
