Downloading an audiobook doesn't seem to work for me

Describe the bug I'm able to log into my server and stream content just fine, however if I try to download the same audiobook (38 files, ~2.5GB in size), the UI shows the spinning icon... and thats it. I've waited several hours, with no change. I've tried charging the watch while doing it, no change.

To Reproduce

1. Log In
2. Click on the audiobook
3. Scroll down to the download icon
4. click the download icon
5. observe that the download icon turns into a spinning icon
6. observe that the spinning icon does not change or indicate that anything is downloading... even over several hours

Expected behavior I expect the audiobook to download. I assuming it will give some indication of % downloaded... but at the very least I expect the audiobook to be downloaded after a period of time.

Smartwatch(please complete the following information):

• Device: Pixel Watch 2
• Android Version: "Wear OS by Google 4.0"
• App version: 1.0.5

Additional context I'd be happy to debug this further for you if you can give me a process to do so.
