This library was born mainly from the desire to be able to use the files generated with Google My Maps (a.k.a. Google Maps Engine) directly with leaflet maps (through a simple php proxy server).

It follows that many of the specifications of the kml standard are currently certainly not implemented

If somehow you will find some bugs, or simply you will want to see new features added, I kindly ask you to investigate the library code and collaborate through new commits.
