Would love to see this be updated every now and then as needed, it's such an amazing extension.

I am with you on this but 2 years no updates pretty much mean it's dead, ugh! There is a browser called Vivaldi that offers Tab Groups but I want to use Firefox because Vivaldi uses Chrome as their base, so I assume it hasn't been de-googled. If Chrome rendering engine isn't a issue for you, check out Vivaldi.

Yeah no I just switched back yesterday to TreeStyleTabs. Also I don't like chrome so thats a no for me.

An alternative to Power Tabs may be Sidebery (Firefox AMO, GitHub) which is still in active development.
